Guardian Ad Litem for Injured Minors
Based on my experience of handling personal injuries of minors, as well as wrongful death cases in which minors are beneficiaries, I accept referrals and act as Guardian Ad Litem, making sure that any proposed settlement is in the best interests of the minor.
The Guardian Ad Litem is appointed by court order. As Guardian Ad Litem, I sign an oath to represent the minor in all matters, to fairly represent the interests of the minor, to try to resolve the minor’s personal injury claims, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties as Guardian Ad Litem to protect the interests of the minor.

The Guardian Ad Litem files a report with the court which includes:
• A statement of the facts of the minor’s claim and the terms of the proposed settlement.
• A list of persons interviewed and documents reviewed in evaluating the minor’s claim and proposed settlement.
• An analysis of whether the proposed settlement will be in the best interests of the minor.
